The Traffic and Patrols Directorate of the Central Operations Sector of Abu Dhabi Police urged drivers to adhere to traffic laws and rules in order to enhance their safety on the roads and reduce traffic accidents.

The Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police – on the occasion of the “International Day of Remembrance of Road Accident Victims”, which falls on November 15 of each year – confirmed its constant interest in developing the traffic safety system in coordination with partners to reach the best response rates, provide logistical support for the injured, and provide integrated services for intervention, aid and rescue. And taking them to hospitals to receive the necessary treatment.
She called for drivers and road users to cooperate in implementing traffic law and regulations and regulations to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents and their effects.
She pointed out to the keenness to implement the necessary measures that enhance safety on the roads, such as respecting the speed limit, avoiding the use of a mobile phone while driving, and leaving an adequate safety distance between vehicles, explaining that the application of safety rules is a tribute to the memory of the victims of traffic accidents, and enhancing safety for drivers and road users.
She stated that the aim of celebrating this occasion is to spread traffic awareness of the importance of cooperation to strengthen the existing measures to reduce the occurrence of road accidents, thus reducing the tragedies and pains that result from them, raising awareness of traffic safety standards, and emphasizing the need for concerted efforts to reduce and avoid accidents.
