Dubai will host the first session of the Future of Healthcare Summit, which will be held virtually from 6 to 8 December next to bring together the most prominent healthcare professionals in the world with the aim of discussing the most pressing issues in the field of healthcare.
The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 participants including doctors, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, healthcare technicians, health officials, surgeons, and students.
The Future of Healthcare Summit – held under the theme “Empowering Healthcare Communities” – provides a platform for professionals to discuss the most pressing issues in healthcare.
The summit sheds light on basic axes: patient safety, the future of health care, health care regulators, innovation and technology, healthcare financing, medical data analysis, the latest developments in the field of bio-pharmacy, health, medical tourism, and emerging companies in the field of health care, as these axes will contribute to the development of health care systems. And overcoming the challenges that it may face, through specialized scientific sessions presented by 70 specialized international speakers.
This hypothetical event will be chaired by Dr. Ramadan Al Balushi, Chief Executive Officer of the Regulatory Sector of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Future of Health Care Summit, His Excellency Humaid Al Qatami, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, CEO of the Future Health Care Summit and Chairman of Index Holding. His Excellency Dr. Amin Hussain Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Policy and Licensing at the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed bin Butti Al Muhairi, Director General of Sharjah Health Authority, and Vishnu Kalra, Managing Director of “Janssen – Johnson & Johnson”.
The conference includes an intensive scientific program to ensure the exchange of knowledge through sessions that will be held over a period of three days and discuss the most urgent topics in the health sector, including a session under the title “Patient Care during an Epidemic” that will be presented by Dr. Ashraf Mahmoud Al-Hofi, a consultant in the intensive care unit at Dubai Hospital, Authority. Dubai Health, and a session entitled “Artificial Intelligence Supports Remote Patient Care and Clinical Trials” by Dr. Walid Abbas Zahir, Chief Research Officer at 42 Healthcare Group, and a session entitled “Reshaping Medical Education for Future Doctors” presented by Dr. Reem Al Gurg, Professor of Health Policy Strategy and Institutional Excellence at Mohammed University Bin Rashid Medicine and Health Sciences and another on “The Cost of Providing Health Care During the Covid-19 Epidemic” by Dr. Muhaimin Abdul Ghani, CEO of Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai.
