Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the Emirate of Fujairah organizes the operetta “Hymns of Light,” which is presented in a special lyrical and poetic style, on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet.
The operetta – which will be shown on a number of Arab television screens – will be attended by 12 artists from the Emirate of Fujairah, through sections that include poetry, painting, Arabic calligraphy, music and Emirati Maldist art.
The operetta includes, in its first paragraph, the reading of the poem “In Praise of the Messenger of God” from the words of the poet Salima Al Mazroui and the performance of the media Fawzia Ahmed. The poem is accompanied by scenes of two paintings in Arabic calligraphy: “Waleed Al-Huda.
The second paragraph includes the operetta song “The Hymns of Light” written by the poet Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Saeed Al Hamoudi and composed by the artist Ali Obaid Al Hafiti, with the participation of artists Hamid Al Abdouli, Hazaa Al Dhanhani, Ali Bin Rabiah, the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts choir and the distribution of music by Osama Ismail.
The operetta was also devoted to displaying a poem “We see Badra” written by the poet Khaled Al-Dhanhani and recited by the journalist Ahmed Al-Yamahi. The poem is accompanied by scenes of painting the Prophet’s Mosque by the artist Amna Jassem. The words of the operetta narrator were written by artist Faisal Jawadib, while the narrator is played by the theater artist Abdullah Masoud.
The operetta concludes with the Emirati mald art, which reminds the audience of the Emirati folklore and the tolerant Islamic values and muwashahat praises the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, for the performance of the Dubai Folk Troupe in cooperation with the Fujairah Folklore Troupe.
