The campaign to monitor abandoned and neglected vehicles, launched by the Ras Al Khaimah Police on July 5, resulted in the seizure of 820 vehicles in abandoned and neglected areas in the various fields of the emirate. By reducing the phenomena and landscapes that may negatively affect the cultural and tourism appearance of the emirate.
The campaign, which was launched under the directives of His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, aims to ensure a sustainable environment, to enhance security and safety in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, as the Traffic and Patrols Department continued its field campaign to monitor abandoned and neglected vehicles under the slogan/Together for a sustainable environment.
Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al Hamidi, Director General of Central Operations, explained that Ras Al Khaimah Police Traffic Teams continue to monitor abandoned and neglected vehicles that distort the general appearance on roads, neighborhoods, and in front of workshops and garages.
In order to achieve a sustainable environment free from distortion that reflects the civilized face of the emirate, Brigadier General Ahmed Al Samam Al Naqbi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, met with a team to monitor abandoned and neglected vehicles in the field of work in the vehicle preservation yard.
