This suspense at New York from the joint venture of Priyanka Chopra and Mast Dubai is hilarious

The famous Indian actress and beauty star Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been connected to many business projects recently in Dubai. One of her latest ventures is an Indian restaurant Sona at the New York city, which, as per Ms. Jonas, is ‘out from her love for the Indian food’. “Sona is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with,” she posted in her Instagram, announcing the opening of the restaurant project.

Ms. Jonas takes the responsibility of this project with the collaboration of Masti Dubai, which is a restaurant franchise in Dubai, which has several outlets that serve a variety of global cuisine. Sona restaurant will be in the safe hands of the chef Mr Hari Nayak. He is a renowned cuisine magician, with a strong reputation on working with Masti Dubai, Moombai & Co and Bombay Bungalow.

Moombai & Co is a tradition searcher for the old Afghan-Parsi cafes of old India, and their outlets are in the trade center area of Dubai.

“For years, I have been asked why I haven’t opened a restaurant in New York, my home ground for over two decades while I have gone to far corners of the world opening many. It’s because New York has always been my most cherished dream. And like every beautiful dream it had to be perfect,” Hari Nayak shared on his Instagram.

Priyanka Chopra has not yet revealed the menu type of the Sona restaurant, but she has been much enthusiastic in revealing the motto: “timeless India in the heart of NYC”. Spectators guess that the restaurant will serve Indian and Arabian dishes while Chopra Jonas oversee Sona to take the visitors through a ‘food journey through her motherland’.

Meanwhile, Mr Nayak is well in his passion of bringing a modern twist to Chopra’s vision on the restaurant.

Priyanka Chopra and Hari Nayak signed agreements, as per unofficial reports, with the famous restaurant owner David Rabin and the renowned business man Maneesh Goyal, for the Sona Project in the New York city. Maneesh Goyal previously commented about Chopra Jonas as the ‘creative force’ behind Sona.

“From the design to the menu to the music and even the name, Priyanka has had her fingerprints all over Sona,” Goyal posted about this dream project on Instagram, adding that ‘Sona’ is the Hindi translation of the word ‘gold’.

“There is no one who better – and more boldly –personifies ‘global Indian’ than Pri. Sona is so lucky to have her in our corner”, he added.

While Priyanka confirmed the Sona project recently on Instagram, she had given clues on this project in the last year itself. She had shared pictures of the puja (prayer ritual) of the shop in an Instagram post from 2019. Her husband and the famous musician and singer Nick Jonas was also with her for the puja.

The speculations say that the restaurant will be open to public at New York by the end of March 2021. Sona’s location is at 36, East, 20^th Street, New York city.
