Education: The Academy of Science and Food Safety opens in 4 schools

At the beginning of the current academic year, the Ministry of Education inaugurated the Science and Food Safety Academy in four schools in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah: The Academy seeks, as part of its future plan, to attract 500 students during the next few years, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Education aimed at empowering students in many specialized fields closely related to the state’s agenda and future future plans.

The opening of the Academy of Science and Food Safety comes in the context of the Ministry of Education keeping pace with the plans and aspirations of the state, which has devoted a great deal of attention to this vital sector, which it relies on in order to achieve its future strategic plans related to the training of national cadres specialized in the field of food, which also contributes to the enrichment of the educational system in the country by granting students Multiple academic options that meet their aspirations and are consistent with their skills.

In addition to studying the general path, students affiliated with the Academy study the basic sciences related to food and nutrition, which in turn helps them understand how the various elements relate to each other, and the processes involved in food production, which help to develop new and distinct products.

The Academy of “Food Science and Food Safety” integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
