Her Highness affirmed the authority’s keenness to do everything necessary to create conditions to allow creative people to continue their work and distinguished production .. She added: “We will take serious steps to support the continuity of the cultural and creative sector in Dubai to achieve the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State. The Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, is ambitious for this sector, and His Highness is keen to establish Dubai as a beacon of culture and an incubator for creative people.

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa said: “Important positive outcomes that we have reached through this constructive discussion, to which we will give it all the attention and care, most notably the need to pave the way for creative individuals and small and medium enterprises at the sector level in Dubai to enable them to carry out their work smoothly and completely. This is the goal that Dubai Culture will work with concerned government and private agencies, to find and implement innovative solutions to achieve it.

Her Highness stressed the value of effective dialogue with the public and private sectors and the creative community and the importance of continuing the exchange of ideas and points of view within the framework of the authority’s efforts to expand the circle of cooperation and discuss ways to work together proactively and monitor solutions that will support us during this stage, appreciating the creative continuation of their creativity despite the surrounding circumstances.

Her Highness added: “We appreciate the efforts of the creative community in Dubai, and we appreciate its rapid adaptation to the surrounding changes and its insistence on continuing the creative process.”

The visits of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to a number of cultural sites in the emirate of Dubai, with the participation of a group of distinguished creators and cadres in the creative and cultural sector, as part of the series launched by Her Highness recently with the aim of following up the latest developments in the creative sectors in Dubai, which included visits to the Dubai neighborhood Design / d3 / followed by a dialogue with a number of creative entrepreneurs about the current status of the design sector in the emirate.

Her Highness also hosted a fruitful dialogue with the participation of a group of emerging Emirati writers and a number of members of the literature and publishing community in Dubai on the current situation of the industry and monitoring its future features.

The emirate is currently witnessing the opening of all museums, public libraries, and cultural landmarks, including Al Serkal Avenue, Art Jameel Center, Dubai Design District/d3, and the Dubai International Financial Center, in conjunction with the announcement of more cultural activities in the emirate during the periods. The upcoming event, most notably the return of “Dubai Design Week”, “Dubai Art Season” and “Art Dubai” exhibition scheduled for March 2021.
