The real estate developer Arada revealed its latest developments in a series of successive construction contracts in the giant mixed-use “Aljada” project in the heart of New Sharjah, with a total sales value of 24 billion dirhams, as it recently awarded a contract worth 102 million. It is noteworthy that “Arad” has awarded during the past few weeks a contract worth 423 million dirhams for the construction of the East Village, which constitutes the second residential phase of the Aljada project. The real estate developer has also signed a separate contract to build the Sabis International School – Aljada, and Arada plans to award another contract to build the Nest complex. For student housing, which is the third phase on the avenue, before the end of 2020.
The avenue extends over an area of 24 million square feet in the growing Muwailih area in the heart of New Sharjah. This mega project is expected to change the urban landscape in the emirate and contribute to drawing a brighter future for its future generations. There are three integrated schools, a hospital, and a wide range of shops, cafes and high-end restaurants. To date, about 5,800 units have been sold in Aljada, 1,600 units of which were sold in 2020 AD only, and upon completion the project will include 20,000 units, of which about 30 percent have been sold so far.
It is worth noting that the construction works on Aljada started in 2018 and the first phase of the project has been completed, which is the Madar Complex, a new family entertainment destination in Aljada, which was inaugurated last February.
