Rashid bin Humaid and Kozo renew the partnership agreement between the UAE and Japanese Football Associations

The Emirates Football Association renewed the cooperation and partnership agreement with its counterpart, the Japanese Football Association, concerned with developing the game in the two countries and exchanging technical and administrative experiences, for a period of three years to come.

The renewal ceremony of the agreement, which took place today through visual communication technology, was witnessed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Emirates Football Association, Kozo Tashima, President of the Japanese Federation, along with Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Football Association, and Kyotaka Suhara, Secretary General of the Japan Federation.

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi said: We have a long relationship with the Japan Football Association, characterized by a lot of respect and professionalism, and we are happy to renew the agreement of understanding that the Football Association had previously signed, which would improve areas of cooperation and expand its horizons.

He added: The Japanese Federation is distinguished by its marketing power in the Yellow Continent, which we look forward to benefiting from, in addition to the element of continuous development of the Japanese League and the Japanese clubs and teams that occupy a prominent position in various continental and international competitions, as well as the professional organization of the football tournaments, and we look forward to the Japanese Federation sharing our experience in the local tournaments. In addition to our handling of the Corona pandemic, and how to implement the protocol for match operations approved by the competent authorities in the country and other aspects that are in the interest of the two federations.

In turn, Kuzu Tashima, President of the Japanese Federation, expressed his great happiness at the renewal of this memorandum, which is the nucleus of the joint work between the two federations spanning many years, which adds a lot of professionalism in the work between the two countries. Congratulations to Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi for his presidency of the Emirates Football Association, and praised the role he plays in Taking the helm of football in dealing with the Corona pandemic, stressing the Japanese Federation’s full readiness to cooperate and support the UAE Federation in all fields.

The memorandum of understanding, after its renewal, includes several areas, most notably technical fields, coaching education, physical training programs, referees’ courses, administrative, media and marketing camps, youth development programs and friendly matches.
