UAE Passport Ranked As The World’s Strongest Passport Once Again

Rejoice, citizens of the United Arab Emirates! Your UAE passport is yet again the best and the strongest in the world! Arton Capital announced The Global Passport Index. The ranking takes into account the mobility score of a particular country’s passport.

The UAE passport was first declared the strongest in 2018, dubbed “The Year of Zayed.” It stayed on top throughout 2019 but slipped down to the 14th rank in the year 2020. However, it is back on top yet again in the year 2021!

This is good news for those who wish to become UAE citizens too. UAE recently relaxed its citizenship laws, offering citizenships to investors, professionals, special talents, and their families under particular circumstances.

How Strong is the UAE Passport?

The UAE passport grants its citizens entry into 152 countries. Amongst these 152 countries, 98 offer UAE citizens visa-free entry, 54 countries provide visas on arrival, and around 46 countries need a visa before entering the country. This is an impeccable record.

What are the other countries on the list?

The UAE passport is followed by the New Zealand passport on this list. New Zealand was ranked second on the Global Passport Index. It provides the Kiwis entry into 146 countries.

Countries such as Germany, Finland, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, South Korea, and Australia followed New Zealand’s passports, giving their citizens access to 144 countries.

In the Middle East, UAE was followed by Israel, Ranked 17th Globally. Israeli citizens have visa-free access to 89 countries, and Israelites are granted visas on arrival in 37 countries. Other than that 72 countries need a visa before entering the country.

In the Arabian Peninsula, Qatar has the second strongest passport. Meanwhile, it has the third strongest in the entire middle east. Qatar citizens get to travel visa-free to 52 countries. Other than that, they get visas on arrival in 39 countries. Although they still need prior visas to enter 107 countries.

This is great news for current and prospective citizens alike as this opens up avenues of opportunities and recreation for them to explore without worrying about any bureaucratic red tape.
