The British government is racing against time to avoid a second wave of the “Corona” epidemic by supporting clinical trials of the Oxford University vaccine, amidst the discrepancy between UK regions in the isolation lists imposed on arrivals from abroad.
Different regions of the United Kingdom take quarantine measures for those coming from outside the Kingdom according to the vision of each region separately, for the West Wales region of the country imposed a quarantine for a period of 14 days on those coming from Portugal and the region of Scotland imposed the same period on those coming from Greece, while England did not impose Stone on those coming from the two countries.
This discrepancy comes amid fears of a second wave of the epidemic that made the British government support clinical trials of the vaccine being conducted by the University of Oxford, with an additional half a billion pounds sterling, so that it might avoid the scenario of last April.
British Health Minister Matt Hancock said in a newspaper’s comments … “The reason we have added half a billion pounds to support the tests in the third phase is precisely to make sure that with the advent of winter we have the ability to comprehensively test so that we can find the Coronavirus. “The newcomer, wherever he is, and also testing people, even if the test result is negative, they can be confident in returning to the things that make life live normally.”
The British government’s fears came after the number of cases of the epidemic rose again. Observers fear that there will be complications from infection with the virus on mental health, not just physical.
Health Minister Hancock added, “At the moment we do not have a lot of evidence about the exact number of people who develop Covid 19 disease and we do not know the extent of the problems they suffer from. We know that some people have reported shortness of breath, and some have reported heart disease, but we do.” We also know that some people have become depressed, perhaps because they could not identify their symptoms or perhaps it was something completely separate.
