The Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth – organized by the “Fann” Foundation concerned with the promotion and support of media art for children and young people in the UAE – and the leading company in application and games technology, one of TwoFour54’s partners in Abu Dhabi, signed a cooperation agreement to release an app “The Children’s Garden”, which displays the films of the participants in the festival, with the aim of supporting young and emerging filmmakers and creating a new platform to showcase their talents.
The app offers the audience a variety of series, films, cartoons, songs, stories and educational videos for the first time, as part of its endeavor to provide targeted and selected high-quality content from around the world that elevates the taste and knowledge of new generations and guides them towards adopting the vocabulary of creativity.
The agreement was signed by Sheikha Jawaher Bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Fann Foundation and the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth, and Mr. Bakr Ma, founder and CEO of Minamobile.
Sheikha Jawaher Bint Abdullah Al Qasimi said: “We are keen to provide everything that contributes to the advancement of the knowledge of new generations and guides them towards adopting the capabilities of creativity and beauty .. Sheikha Jawaher Bint Abdullah Al Qasimi indicated that the agreement with Minamobile provides an opportunity for the public from different parts of the world to view various creative materials provided by the platform during these conditions that the world is going through due to the spread of the Corona pandemic .. noting that it is a step that achieves the goals and objectives of the Sharjah Festival. Film Festival for children and youth in affirming the joint cooperation relations that bring the festival together with the various artistic and creative bodies in the country.
For his part, Bakr Ma said: “We are always working through this application to develop and support Arabic content to nurture a new generation that enjoys the innovation and culture we want for our children,” expressing his happiness with this partnership.
