Sharjah Radars to Identify Tankers Plying in Banned Time

Sharjah radars are now able to catch sewage tankers that ply during banned hours. Sewage tankers will be permitted to ply in just two shifts as per the recent changes. These new timings are  8:30 am to 1 pm and 11 pm to 6 am. Tanker drivers will be prepared and trained for 2 weeks to get used to the new timings.

The police and the Sharjah City Municipality are working in partnership to guarantee that these new guidelines and allowed movement period is being followed in the Muwailih commercial zone. Thabit Al Taraifi, Director-General of the Sharjah Municipality, said that this being enforced through Sharjah Radars to create a smooth flow of traffic for people.

Thabit Al Taraifi added that the number of residents in Muwailih is on the rise and the area is undergoing a significant transformation.  Hassan Al Tefaq, Assistant Director-General for the Agriculture and Environment Sector, said that a new initiative might be on its way in that region. This will make sure that all its buildings are properly and sufficiently looked after and kept clean.
