Last Year’s Global Village
Every year many UAE residents and visitors can be seen visiting the multicultural family entertainment destination. On their 25th anniversary of Global Village, they acquired around 4.5 million tourists and also saw the Global Village breaking 25 Guinness world records.
For its 25th season, the park signified around 78 cultures at 26 pavilions in over 190 days. More than 300 food and beverage counters along with 3,500 retail outlets were set up last year. They anticipate using the previous season’s achievements to work on the next season and ensure its success.
What’s different this year?
The latest edition was hosted with extreme Covid 19 safety guidelines and with the finest practices to sustain the health and safety of the tourists from the pandemic. The public places are regularly sanitized by the Global village to ensure maximum hygiene and they also make sure the tourists wear their masks during their visits.
The CEO of Global village, Bader Anwahi said that they all work hard every year with a lot of commercial partners and exhibitors. This year they are particularly proud of playing such an important role in supporting the economy and for assisting in positioning Dubai as a major tourist and business hub. He also said he has a lot more to be optimistic about the upcoming season 26.
He added that this season they have put together some important improvements to the street that runs between Main Stage and Carnaval with a lovely fountain factor, seating area, and photo booth for capturing memorable moments.
