.abudhabi – The Capital’s New Domain Extension in the Virtual World

Abu Dhabi gets an overhaul to its digital face. The Emirate announced its official domain name extension .abudhabi to be used henceforth. 

The new domain extension comes when the leaders are transforming the capital to promote the economy, culture, and tourism. Efforts are being undertaken to elevate them locally, regionally, and internationally.

It partakes in the region’s effort and ambitious vision to build and shape the digital future with innovation. While announcing the new domain extension, the Director-General of Abu Dhabi Digital Authority mentioned that the initiative would elevate the UAE’s Global Innovation Index status in the days to come. It would serve as an attractive factor for those interested in creating their business avenues in the capital.

Citizens and residents can register the .abudhabi extension. Companies and Organizations are asked to reserve their domain names. 

To date, 550 plus “.abudhabi” domain have already been registered, and the numbers are growing rapidly.
