Nahyan bin Mubarak receives a dose of “Covid-19” vaccine

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, received a dose of the “Covid-19” vaccine, in support of the national program and the use of the vaccine in the country in order to combat the virus and limit its repercussions.

His Excellency said that the UAE, with the guidance and support of the wise leadership, has demonstrated during the emerging Corona virus pandemic its ability to deal with the repercussions of the pandemic with high efficiency, based on the best scientific and practical standards, which embodies the leadership of the medical sector in the UAE.

His Excellency added that the “Covid-19” vaccine would provide the utmost safety and security for workers in the first line of defense, and save and protect lives.

The UAE authorized the emergency use of the “Covid-19” vaccine, to make it available to the groups most dealing with people infected with the virus from the first line of defense champions, with the aim of providing all safety and security means and protecting them from any dangers that they may face due to the nature of their work.

The trials conducted in the country and in which more than 31 thousand volunteers from 125 nationalities have participated in it, have proven that the vaccine is safe and effective and resulted in a strong response to fight the virus.

It is noteworthy that the use of the “Covid-19” vaccine contributes to saving lives and reducing injuries resulting from the pandemic, and it is one of the ways that the state has taken to limit the spread of the epidemic and protect the health and safety of society.
