National Geographic Entertainment Park: The Ultimate Explorer In Abu Dhabi Is Now Open

National Geographic unveiled its brand new entertainment park in Abu Dhabi on 30th September 2021. It is named as National Geographic Ultimate Explorer Park. This is the first entertainment park of its kind to open up in the UAE. The park aims to make learning fun through innovative attractions and even virtual reality rides.

The National Geographic Ultimate explorer aims to inspire kids to take up pursuits like space exploration, wildlife exploration, science, and engineering.

What are some of the main attractions at the National Geographic Ultimate Explorer park?

Located in  The Galleria, this brand new adventure zone will have 7 premium attractions. These attractions will ensure that everyone from the parents to the children has something fun to do. The location will have a retail boutique, casual dining. Private rooms will also be available to host exclusive children’s birthday parties.

The park aims at integrating augmented reality, virtual reality, and 3D technology to create an immersive and fun learning atmosphere.

Some of the attractions will include the likes of:

• Space Jump: For the budding astronaut to experience the vastness of space.
• Robotics Lab: For your tiny tot to try his hands at engineering a robot
• Wild River Recon: Send your kid on a white water raft to look for exotic wildlife in a rainforest; in Virtual reality of course.
• Canopy climbers: Let’s see if your little monkey has the parkour and climbing skills necessary to survive in the wild.
• Terra Studio: Increase your child’s knowledge and understanding of the raw power of Mother Earth, with AR.
• Zoocoder and Critter Cam: Bring your child face to face with wild animals, safely, with the help of their audio-visual department.

What are the ticket costs and timings?

The price for admission for both adults and children is AED 80. Parents accompany children below 10 must at all times.

The park is open Saturday to Wednesday from 10 am to 10 pm, and from 10 am to midnight on Thursday and Friday.
