The authority implemented 18 temporary truck breaks on the right of the road, with a total parking capacity of 538 stops, and distributed these rest houses in a number of vital roads in the Emirate of Dubai to provide safe and comfortable parking for trucks during the ban period.

The two sides also discussed the challenges facing the vehicle rental sector in Dubai and ways to support the sector in light of the Corona pandemic.

During the meeting, the joint traffic projects between the Dubai Police General Command and the Roads and Transport Authority were reviewed during the period from 2017 to 2021, which amounted to 13 projects, the most important of which is the Dubai Traffic Safety Strategy 2017-2021, whose implementation contributed to reducing the accident death rate from 2.5 per 100 thousand of the population in 2017.
