The Women’s Renaissance Society in Dubai organized a Talent Forum under the slogan of art and innovation, which comes from the association’s objectives in developing life skills and opportunities for education and continuous development of community members and in strengthening the association’s role in activating partnerships between community institutions in order to support talents and their distinguished individuals.
The forum hosted a group of speakers in four axes, the first axis entitled “In Our Home is Talented” presented by Dr. Shafa Al Neyadi, Board Member of the Emirates Association for the Gifted, and the second topic, entitled “Innovation in Talent”, was presented by Mr. Ahmed Al Naqbi, a writer and innovation trainer, while the third topic addressed “Investing in Talent “presented by Hamid Al Ali, a consultant in capacity development and business development.
The forum was moderated by Dr. Saif bin Rashid Al Jabri, member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Association for Giftedness.
His Excellency Dr. Fatima Al Falasi, Director General of the Association, said that the Talents Forum stems from the association’s belief in the importance of community awareness and the provision of programs that serve the path of developing youth skills and educating families and institutions of their effective role in developing and refining talents, and that the association stresses the importance of highlighting talent and transforming it into an investment that leads us to benefits Individual and societal that affect the development and advancement of the intellectual, psychological, cognitive and skillful spirit and component of youth.
Al Falasi praised the participation of government institutions and agencies, which reflects the depth of partnership and social responsibility with the association, to combine efforts and work together to achieve the aspirations of our beloved emirates, expressing her thanks to the participants for their participation and the targeted topics presented at the forum.
For her part, Khawla Al-Matroushi, the supervisor of the Hour Center for Girls, said that the Hour Center is concerned with developing programs and initiatives directed at youth, refining and caring for their talents and the girls’ category in particular, and the UAE has taken proactive steps in the field of developing creativity and innovation and harnessing all capabilities to cultivate and nurture talent.
