As the summer heat subsides, Dubai attractions are slowly getting opened to public. One such attraction is Dubai Miracle Garden that loses some of its glory due to the summer heat as it may prove to be harmful to the delicate flowers. But the Miracle garden is going to be back in November and this time with a brand new attraction! What’s this new attraction, you may ask? Well, it’s a life-size Smurf Village.
What’s a Smurf Village?
Smurfs are tiny humanoid ‘people’ that live in tiny mushroom houses in a close-knit village society. This society is in a part of the world called “Le Pays Maudit” (French for “the Cursed Land”). Visitors to the Miracle Garden will now be able to explore the Smurf village. They can get inside the mushroom houses, and feel like a tiny smurf. Like the ones in the cartoons and the movies, this village is set amidst beautiful, fragrant flower beds.
Apart from the smurf mushroom homes, the smurf village will also have smurf-shaped topiaries. The attraction will also have a Smurf activity center.
Isnt that wonderful?
In the words of Abdel Naser Rahhal, the creator and co-founder of Dubai Miracle Garden, “As we celebrate our tenth year, we want to make sure we embark on a wondrous launch. With the Expo 2020 here, we at Dubai Miracle Garden want to surprise and amaze the world with the exciting series of new designs and displays that will take the Grand Floral Show to new extents,”
The Miracle garden already has 2 world records in its bag, one for the world’s largest vertical garden, and another for the world’s largest floral arrangement in the shape of the Emirates A380 airplane. And they are throwing their belt in the ring for another Guinness World Record with the Smurf Village attraction.
Parting Words
For now, the opening date is not out yet but it is all set to open by 1st week of November. So, get on down to the Miracle Garden for a day of fun and frolic with your loved ones, and let your eyes bask in the beauty of the flower beds.
