Korean festival in Dubai is set to have its grand launch!

T’is the festival season in Dubai. From Expo 2020 to the Oktoberfest an entire sleuth of festivals is all set to make your stay in Dubai extra careful. Another festival that is ready to make its presence felt across Dubai is the Korean Festival. 

This festival will be held from October 14, 2021, and will end on October 16, 2021. This festival is going to be quite an attraction. The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah is set to host this event. 

Who is organising this event?

A Korean Village is set at the entrance of The Pointe at the Palm Jumeirah, right next to the Monorail. The festival timings have been set from 4 pm to 10 pm by the authorities. This festival is being held in association with  Dubai Korean Club Choego Community, Korea International Cultural Exchange Foundation (KOFICE), and the UAE Korea Cultural Center.

What will the event feature?

This festival is going to feature Korean music, dance, food, and other cultural events. Many Korean brands and products will also be featured here at the festival.

The celebrations on October 15th, 2021 will be turned up a notch. This is because the South Korean Boy band, Super Junior will be having an exclusive live performance on The Point’s West Promenade.  

Where can we get our tickets?

Free standing tickets to this concert are available on Platinumlist.net. People with valid tickets will also be able to book tables at the West Promenade and enjoy the performance along with a hearty dinner. 

The West Promenade has a variety of restaurants offering a premium dining experience at discounted rates like the Hook & Cook, Al Safadi, Mongol Ger, etc.

The organizers are prepared to put a sparkle in  your eye as well as in the sky with an elaborate fireworks display.

What are some things that need to be kept in mind while visiting?

Visitors are advised to arrive before 4 pm as the venue has a limited capacity. Guests are requested to present a valid, negative PCR test or proof of vaccination via the Al Hosn app, failing to do so, you would be denied entry to the event.

As travel to South Korea is currently not possible, thanks to the pandemic, the organizers are prepared to bring Korea to UAE for your pleasure over the weekend. So come on over to The Pointe and enjoy!
