Along with many of the world’s first, Dubai is getting ready to open the world’s first nature inspired mall. Sprawling across 1.2 million sq. ft beside Global Village, the mall will soon open to the public in the last quarter of 2021.
Cityland Group, behind the mall’s development, is has the reputation for creating the world’s largest and jaw-dropping Miracle Gardens and Butterfly Garden. This project aims to give a superior retail and entertainment experience bridged with ecological preservation, sustainable design, and interaction with nature.
Cityland Mall
The primary attraction of the mall is the 200,000 sq. ft open outdoor garden in the center of the structure. The garden named ‘Central Park’ would be a unique attraction, and it highlights the rich biodiversity of nature. The garden will be watered with treated sewage to increase sustainability. They also have structures in place to harvest storm waters.
Retail and Entertainment
With a budget of AED 1.2 Billion, Cityland Mall will be one of Dubai’s largest single-floor retail centers. Designed in a circular fashion to allow continuous customer flow, it will host a versatile combination of 350 stores in the mall. Provision is there for 6000+ parking spaces and a 100,000 sq. ft hypermarket.
The main shopping areas of the mall are strategically categorized and segregated to give the best customer experience to the visitors. The mall will house the popular electronics and cosmetic outlets as well as personal and banking services.
A 50,000 sq, ft family entertainment center is under planning with 10-12 cinema screens. The entertainment center aims to provide a community-based environment and offer various activities for everyone to enjoy. The options range from creative games to rides and family activities.
Dining
The 75+ dining halls located around the central garden hub is the first of its kind botanical dining venue. The visitors will have the option to choose from local and international cuisines in indoor or outdoor seating. The dining halls are located close to the cinema halls, toys section, children’s wear for easy reach, and they have multiple exits.
The mall located beside the Global Village will be accessible to 52% of Dubai within 20 mins by personal vehicles. Photovoltaic solar panels are there on the roof to harvest solar energy. The mall about to open in the coming months will be an amazing experience for the visitors and the residents.
