Alongside governing the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, the committee will be developing a comprehensive preparation plan. The Committee is working on a diverse agenda built on four strategic pillars that will cover several development initiatives. The aim is to create real changes through socioeconomic and developmental policies for generations to come.
The activities marking “The Year 50” will be organised around the following foundational pillars:
* The Year 50 will be launched with a festive spirit that will engage all those who consider the UAE as their homeland.
* All UAE nationals will be called upon to contemplate the values and achievements of the past in acknowledgement of the Founding Fathers of the UAE.
Everyday in the run up to December 2, the residents will be invited to visit national attractions, and discover hidden gems around UAE. They are also expected to learn and sing the national anthem and click photos of location that hold a meaning for them.
Governmental organisations, private firms, schools etc are there to support the Golden Jubilee project.
* The events will be focussed on inspiring the youth to prepare their vision about the ambitions of the next 50 years. The nation will be supporting them while they make quality national achievements in furtherance of The March of Development, Progress and Prosperity.
