SOUK MADINAT JUMEIRAH is inviting you to its inaugural photography competition.

Wondering if you can participate too?

Well, anybody can.  As long as you are a resident of UAE, your nationality doesn’t matter.

And don’t let yourself stop. Whether you are an amateur photographer or a professional: go ahead and start clicking. All you have to do is to ‘capture the spirit of the Souk’.  And, you never know what the future might unfold!

Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a widely popular destination in UAE. It’s a place that showcases the culture and heritage of UAE and has great eating joints too. Waterways surround all the Arabic-style buildings. There will surely be a photo to click everywhere!

So, go ahead. Capture the life, culture, and the moments at the souk through your camera or smartphone.

Clean your lenses, unstrap the shutter bags, and weave digital celluloid magic. Your photographs must tell stories about the features of Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

You don’t need any permits to take photographs inside Souk Madinat Jumeirah. You can use professional cameras, but tripods are not allowed inside.

All the works will be judged by Khalil Abdulwahid (Art Director of the Dubai Culture and Arts Bureau); Jassim Al Awadhi (Chairman of the UAE Photography Association and founder of the UAE Photography Club) and Faisal Al Rais (UAE conceptual artist and photographer).
