Deepika Padukone and Prabhas working together?

It’s good news for South Indian and North Indian movie lovers alike; Deepika Padukone will be starring in Nag Ashwin’s next big project with Baahubali star Prabhas. Both the actors sent a wave of excitement among their fans by announcing the news on their social media profiles on Sunday.

Earlier, Vyjayanthi Productions had announced a big film with Prabhas, but details of other cast were not disclosed. Now, it has been confirmed that it will be Deepika Padukone who will star opposite Prabhas in the film. Vyjayanthi Movies took to their official twitter handle to share the news. The tweet read, “As promised, here it is – our next big announcement! WELCOMING THE SUPERSTAR.”

Prabhas welcomed Deepika Padukone to the team like this: “We are very excited to have Deepika Padukone on board, welcome.” Deepika, who will make her debut in the Telugu film industry with the upcoming project, expressed her joy and excitement on Instagram with these words: “Beyond thrilled! Cannot wait for what we believe is going to be an incredible journey ahead…”

As per the reports, Prabhas’ next is a huge project with a budget of Rs 400 crore. As per the reports, #Prabhas21 is expected to be a sci-fi venture about time travel, where the lead actors will go to specific time zones. The production of this film will be shot all over Europe. The film is produced by Vyjayanthi Entertainments, a banner that recently completed 50 years in the business.

The film, which will release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, will reportedly go on floors next year. The makers haven’t announced other details of the film yet.

As soon as the makers of the film announced Deepika Padukone’s collaboration with the project, fans flooded Twitter with praise and appreciation posts. #DeepikaPadukone has been trending on Twitter since Sunday morning.

Prabhas will be next seen in Radhe Shyam. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Bhagyashree, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sasha Chhetri along with Sathyan and Priyadarshi in pivotal roles.

Deepika Padukone’s next Hindi film is Kabir Khan’s ’83, in which she will star alongside her husband, actor Ranveer Singh. Prabhas, on the other hand, was last seen in the 2019 film Saaho, which released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi language, respectively.
