Stargazing Nights (October 20 – 22)
A 90-minute Stargazing show would be hosted at the French Pavilion in the Mobility District. Courtesy of the powerful Unistellar telescope, you’ll get to explore the deep space galaxies, nebulae, and beyond.
Show Timings:
October (20 – 22) – 6.30 pm
While you’re at the France Pavilion, you should do something else too. In the past couple of months, we have seen the news about entrepreneurs taking space journeys and sharing the view from up there. If you’re wondering what the view would be like, there is a space shuttle window that replicates the mesmerizing view.
Touch the Moon, Literally
Not kidding. The US pavilion displays the mare basalt rock collected during one of the Apollo missions at its site. The rock is more than 3.75 billion years old and you can touch it. The pavilion also displays a Martian meteorite sample found in Antarctica during 2012-2013. Stupendous, isn’t it?
Outside the pavilion, there is a scale-by-scale replica of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
Among the 10 theme weeks planned during Expo 2020, Space Week is the second theme week. It is a great opportunity for the young kids to see, learn, and explore the space developments we’ve made so far. It’ll be an inspiring as well as an entertaining week for the visitors. If you’re planning to visit the Expo 2020 Space Week, do not miss the things we’ve discussed above.
