If you are working for Dubai government then this news is sure to make you happy! Now, Dubai Government employees can avail up to 6 days of paid leave to visit Expo 2020! And these leaves are valid from October 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022.
There are less than 4 days left for Expo 2020 to open its doors for general public and Dubai residents. And this announcement will make it easy for people to attend this mega event with there families.
Afterall, the site is so huge that one cannot visit it in just 1 day.
This directive was issued on Monday by High Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council. The idea is to ensure that the government employees are able to understand the global innovations. This may also help them sharpen there capabilities and make them get ready for the future.
In the words of Sheikh Hamdan, “”Our goal is to implement the Expo’s theme of ‘Connecting minds, creating the future’ practically. We want our team to be familiar with creative ideas from all over the world.”
He further stressed on the fact that the government has created a unique work model and creativity is its main foundation. The need here is to review successful experiences so that new ideas can be inspired and ambitious goals of UAE can be attained for the coming 50 years.
