Usain Bolt has geared up for a grand racing marathon to be held on November 13. But this time for a noble cause. Taking part in Expo 2020 is the multi-award winning athlete with his family of trainers. This is going to be a 1.45 km long race initiated for charity.
For this, Usain would be teaming up with Gatorade and the Sports, Fitness and Wellbeing Hub at Expo. This charity is entrusted for the Al Noor Rehabilitation & Welfare Association for People of Determination.
Initiated by the celebrity, it is yet open for all people who intend to participate and wish to donate for the cause. Pre-registration is a mandate here in order to be listed from the start line. This run is open for all age groups. It is going to be a fitness drive and noble drive all at once.
What More Is Coming Up In This Expo 2020 Marathon?
This marathon is not just it.
The Jamaican Sprinter will also be hosting a session telling about his experiences and struggles of his journey to the fans. They are invited to attend the after-race session with the athlete who would be guiding the fitness drive. Sholto Douglas-Home, Chief Sales & Marcomms Officer, Expo 2020 Dubai has expressed his gratitude to the athlete and his warm wishes to the people with his words. Hamda Hosani, an Emirati athlete and award winner for 18 times will also be running along the Bolt. Hosani is an especially-abled person who has struggled hard to ensure that her weakness becomes her strength and takes her to heights. Usain thus organized a zoom call with her as a grand surprise, and spoke about his visit in the event. Taking it as an opportunity, they are all geared up for the grand marathon for charity upcoming in Expo 2020, this November.
