Dubai-based fashion label Mrs Keepa is set to make its debut at Paris Fashion Week.
The brand, founded by Egyptian-French designer Mariam Yeya, has been invited to be a part of the Féderation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode ‘Welcome to Paris’ initiative with the Arab Fashion Council.
The brand’s SS22 “Harmonious Chaos” collection will be presented on September 28, as part of the official Paris Fashion Week events calendar.
Announcing the news on her official Instagram page, Mariam shared her excitement about the achievement she has “been working so hard for”.
She also said she “still can’t believe it’s happening”.
Since her creations border on ready-to-wear and couture, Mariam creates pieces designed to celebrate the female form by playing on different proportions, patterns, volumes, etc.
The ‘Harmonious Chaos’ collection, which will be shown at Paris Fashion Week, gives a contemporary-cool feel with evening-ready drama and easy wearing basics with edgy detailing.
Cut out and strappy maxi skirts, wide-leg camouflage cargo pants and larger-than-life sleeves are all at the heart of the collection.
The show will take place at 1 pm at the TRANOI Palais de Tokyo in Paris, present by the Arab Fashion Council.
