Massive fire erupted in a spare parts and scarps warehouse in Industrial Area 8, Sharjah. It was seen on Sunday around 12.30 noon when large plumes of smoke rose in the sky.
The prompt activity of fire fighters from Sharjah and the neighbouring emirates helped to bring the situation in control.
Instant evacuation of the area was done to avoid suffocation of laborers. As of now, no casualties have been reported.
Cooling operations in still ongoing after which the site will be inspected by investigators to assess the actual cause.
