The Mubadala World Tennis Championship, is the most prestigious tennis showdowns in the world. And 13th edition of the event is back! This has turned out to be some of the greatest news for tennis and sports lovers in the UAE.
The playoffs begins on Thursday, December the 16th and ends on December 18th, Saturday. This time they have 6 top tennis champions and 2 top female champions of the world.
This three-day Tennis extravaganza will draw in a huge crowd of spectators.
The event is being organized at the Zayed Sports City’s International Tennis Centre in Abu Dhabi. The tickets have been priced at AED 100 for adults and AED 50 for kids.
After more than a year cooped up inside their homes due to the pandemic, the audiences seem excited. This will be their first chance to be under a roof with others watching some of the world’s most talented tennis stars duel it out on the court.
It is being reported that the organizers- Flash Entertainment will take all the necessary precautions to keep covid at bay. They want to ensure that this event does not turn into a super spreader.
Precautions at Mubadala World Tennis Championship
- The organizers at Flash Entertainment will reduce the stadium capacity.
- Attendees will furnish their green pass on the Al Hosn app. The green pass indicates the full vaccination status of the attendee. This is not needed for attendees below the age of 12.
- They will also show a negative PCR test result. The test will be valid for no more than 48 hours before them attending the event. A negative PCR test is a must for attendees below 12 years of age.
- All attendees must wear masks and social distance at all times during the event.
