Sharjah, Al-Nasr, Ajman, and Al Wasl qualified for the quarter-finals of the President’s Cup for football

The Sharjah Football First Team won an important victory over Khor Fakkan, with two goals to none in the match that took place between them at Saqr Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Stadium in Khorfakkan, as part of the 16th round of the Cup of His Highness the President of the State Sharjah secured qualifying for the quarter-finals and joined by Ajman Club, which achieved a great surprise and eliminated Al Ain Club from the competition after defeating it with a goal for nothing in the match that brought them together at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.

And in the Al Wasl match and Al Fujairah match, Al Wasl succeeded in achieving a 1-0 win over Fujairah in the match that brought them together at Dibba Al Fujairah Stadium, thus Al Wasl team qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament.

And after a long match between Al-Nasr and Al-Wehda at Al Nahyan Stadium, its original and extra time ended with a goalless draw. Al-Nassr defeated Al-Wehda with four goals to two on penalties, and qualified for the quarter-finals, while Al-Wehda left the championship.

Sunday, the rest of the 16 round matches will be completed with four confrontations, as the first brings together the Emirates and Ittihad Kalba, the second between Bani Yas and Al Orouba, the third between Al Dhafra and Al Jazeera, and the fourth between Shabab Al Ahly and Hatta.
