Whatsapp CEO Will Cathcart and Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg have reportedly dished out plenty of news regarding upcoming WhatsApp features. However, the news didn’t come via a press release or social media post, but via an apparent group chat featuring a prominent leaker.
Popular Whatsapp features tracker WABetalnfo recently invited to chat with WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart and Zuckerberg. During the conversation, Zuckerberg revealed that two new features, “Disappearing Mode” and “View Once”, are coming to WhatsApp really soon. Moreover, we also got confirmation that WhatsApp will start beta-testing multi-device support over the next few weeks.
Starting with the “Disappearing Mode“, it will allow the user to enable the disappearing messages feature for all their new chats. When the “View Once” feature is enabled for chats on WhatsApp, the recipients will be able to see the photo or video you send only once. The message with the photo or video will automatically disappear from the chat once you open it. And another new feature is” Multi-device support” which means you will be able to use WhatsApp across multiple platforms without your primary device being connected to the internet. Moreover, it will also allow WhatsApp to introduce iPad support and you will be able to connect up to 4 devices to your account.
