After we traded many leaks and rumors related to them, Asus finally today officially unveiled the two phones Asus ZenFone 7 and Asus Zenfone 7 Pro, which are the two phones that come to succeed the current flagship phone Asus Zenfone 6, which was launched by Asus last year.
In the two new Asus Zenfone 7 and Asus Zenfone 7 Pro phones, Asus has improved the rotating mechanism for the rear cameras and added a close-up camera to the mix, which means that the two new flagship phones of Asus now have three cameras in the rotating mechanism instead of just two. According to Asus, it was reported that the rotating mechanism in the new camera has become more durable so that it can rotate 100 times a day for up to five years, knowing that it can bear a weight of 35 kilograms.
And on the mention of cameras, the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro includes a 64-megapixel primary camera that supports OIS image stabilization technology and a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera that works as a macro camera as well so that it can take pictures from only 4 cm.
As for the third and final camera, it is a close-up camera that provides an optical zoom of 3x and supports OIS image stabilization technology. As for the Asus Zenfone 7, it includes the same cameras except that it lacks OIS image stabilization technology. And as you can expect from flagship phones like this, it will be able to shoot 8K videos at 30 frames per second, and 4K videos at 120 frames per second.
Regardless of the cameras, Asus has also provided the new Asus Zenfone 7 phones with other high-end technical specifications, including a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution protected with Gorilla Glass 6 that supports 110 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an eight processor. Snapdragon 865 cores in the Asus Zenfone 7 and Snapdragon 865 + in the case of the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro.
The new Asus Zenfone 7 phones also include up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 fast storage, and also includes a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. However, although these phones include AMOLED screens, they include a fingerprint sensor on the side, but there are probably those who prefer this step.
The Asus Zenfone 7 and Asus Zenfone 7 Pro will be launched globally, starting September 1. As for the Asus Zenfone 7 phone, it will cost the equivalent of $ 750 for the 8GB / 128GB version, while the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro will cost the equivalent of $ 950 for the 8GB / 256GB version.
