Al-Hajraf confirms the role of the Gulf statistical centers in supporting decision-makers

The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, affirmed the prominent and effective role of the Gulf statistical centers in supporting decision-makers and policy-makers in the GCC countries with statistics, data, and numbers to make the best decisions, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of all employees In the statistical sector in the GCC countries.

Al-Hajraf said in a statement today on the occasion of the “Gulf Statistics Day” … The allocation of the Gulf Cooperation Council states to the Arab Gulf states, the twenty-fourth of December of each year, is a clear indication of the great interest attached to their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states. He explained that defining “the slogan of smart data is the future of official statistics” reflects the approach taken by the statistical agencies in the GCC countries, which is relying on technical developments, using them in modern statistical work and making it more qualitative and accurate.
