The Crew Dragon capsule supported by the Falcon 9 rocket, both were designed at Space X. The launch took place from Cape Canaveral, Florida, from where the world witnessed Apollo missions to the moon half a century ago.
Amidst the global pandemic, NASA has requested people not to rush and associate to see the launch. US President Donald Trump witnessed the historic moment from the roof of NASA’s Ops building. “It’s a go”, he says after seeing the successful launch along with US Vice President Mike Pence.
