115-Kilogram Reticulated Python
The National Aquarium recently brought home a 115-kilogram reticulated python. They are the longest snake breeds in the world, and they can grow up to 10 meters. The one currently at the aquarium is 7 meters long, and the new one will be one of the largest python on display in the world. This 14-year old python takes 12 people to hold it, and it is non-venomous.
An educational and entertainment zone
It will serve as a place to educate and entertain the visitors about the importance of living harmoniously with the other species. The aquarium will host interactive sessions to increase awareness and encourage participation. You can feed the animals and engage with the aquatic world.

Abu Dhabi National Aquarium Partners with Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi National Aquarium has signed a five-year partnership with the Environmental Agency. It aims to create rehabilitation schemes to protect sea creatures.
A large number of species have been saved due to the partnership, including 200 sea turtles. The aquarium hosts 25 species of sharks and rays, including the iconic scalloped hammerhead sharks. The Shark population is decreasing in the gulf due to overfishing. This initiative will serve as a savior to protect and repopulate sharks.
When will it open?
The National Aquarium will be open to the public in the coming months and is expected to attract visitors worldwide. However, announcement of final date is not done yet. Once the tickets are released, you can book them online to avoid overcrowding at the venue.

You can walk to 10 different themed zones. Each of them offers rare and exotic species. It will enhance your learning about there habitat and how they thrive peacefully in the ecosystem.
