For the first time ever, Dubai is set to host the World Police Summit from March 13-16, 2022. The event aims to initiate conversations about the future of policing.

World Police Summit has been scheduled at Expo 2020. It is the first of its kind event in the Middle East. The event will be hosted under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Dubai Police General Command. The International Association of Chief of Police has given its support to the summit.

Dubai Exhibition Centre hosts this prominent global security event – from March 13 to 16, 2022.

Future of Policing

The event planned as an interactive conference and exhibition aims to focus on the future of policing, public safety, and security. The summit will serve as a platform to initiate conversations about thought-leaderships. It will discuss the direction and strategies for the emerging policing challenges.

It aims to encourage law enforcement agencies to collaborate. Finding solutions and sharing ideas would foster a good relationship between the agencies. It would help them to enhance public safety and security together.  The summit will touch upon the rising international criminal networks and cyber-crimes.

An International Event

Interpol, Europol, the IACP, and the nation’s various law enforcement agencies will attend the summit. The list also includes the law enforcement agencies and the UAE’s Ministry of Interior.

Commander-in Chief-of Dubai Police mentioned that the summit would encourage all the agencies to connect with governments and policymakers to discuss the future of policing.

The summit will promote international cooperation between various organizations. It would help accelerate the advanced police and law enforcement techniques. It will host more than 200 speakers and 2,000 delegates across six strategic conferences.

The Ministers of the Interior and Justice will be delivering keynote speeches during the summit. The plenary sessions will debate and address the challenges created by modern technologies. Cybercrimes, urbanization, population growth, resource scarcity are also on the agenda. The post-pandemic impact on safety and security is also on the cards to keep up with modern times.

Adapting Advanced Tech

The summit will host 250 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors. It will showcase the advanced technologies and solutions to ensure a safe future. The summit will showcase the latest state-of-the-art equipment, such as video analytics, forensics, AI, communications equipment, etc., to the international audience.

The summit planned to coincide with the conclusion of Expo 2020 has a mission to connect minds and create the future for the benefit of all.
