Putin wishes Trump and his wife a speedy recovery after they were infected with “Corona”

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his sincere support for US President Donald Trump and his wife, wishing them a speedy recovery after they were diagnosed with the emerging coronavirus

In a message sent to Trump and distributed by the Kremlin, the Russian president said, “I am convinced that the vital energy, high morale and optimism that characterize you will help you defeat this dangerous virus.”

“Of course, we wish President Trump a speedy recovery in the easiest way,” said Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian presidency, in the Kremlin’s first comment on the White House announcement that Trump and his wife Melania had been infected with the virus.
